Beechwood girls basketball wins Nell Fooks Classic championship

On December 21, the Beechwood girls' basketball team emerged victorious against Dayton with a score of 59-51, securing the Nell Fooks Classic Championship. The tournament took place at Boone County High School.

According to reports from the event, in Round 1, Beechwood defeated Williamsburg with a score of 49-33. Emme Kelly and Emme Blackburn were each named Player of the Game for their performances. Senior Charley Conarroe received the Most Valuable Player award.

The Beechwood Varsity Girls Basketball team is coached by Head Coach Celeste Hill Brockett. The team's next game is scheduled for Saturday, January 4, when they will face Lloyd High School.
