Laser treatment offers new hope for Cincinnati snorers

CINCINNATI (October 10, 2024) – The Christ Hospital Health Network's Aim For Wellbeing is now offering a new treatment to help reduce snoring and alleviate sleep apnea symptoms. The Fotona NightLase™ procedure is a non-invasive laser treatment that targets the tissues in the back of the mouth and tongue. This process helps to contract and tighten these tissues, which can vibrate during sleep due to airway narrowing. By allowing air to move more freely through the nose and mouth, it aims to decrease snoring and improve sleep quality. The procedure takes about 45 minutes.
