The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati has received an “A” grade for patient safety from The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade Report for Fall 2025. This distinction places the hospital among 26 in Ohio to earn an “A” and one of only three hospitals in the state to maintain this grade since Fall 2023.

The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade evaluates hospitals based on how well they prevent errors, accidents, injuries, and infections. Leapfrog’s grading system is recognized as the only hospital rating program focused exclusively on preventable medical errors and related issues. The program is peer-reviewed and updates grades twice a year.
The Christ Hospital Health Network operates a main acute care hospital in Mt. Auburn, another location in Liberty Township, eight outpatient centers, and many medical offices across the region. With more than 1,300 physicians and over 7,200 staff members, it has served its community for 135 years. In addition to its recent Leapfrog recognition, U.S. News & World Report named it the top hospital in Cincinnati while Newsweek included it on its list of World’s Best Hospitals for 2025.
