Steve Rosfeld President - The Christ Hospital Foundation | The Christ Hospital Health Network

The Christ Hospital Heart & Vascular Institute in Cincinnati has been recognized by Healthgrades as one of America's 50 Best Hospitals for Cardiac Surgery. It also received accolades as one of the top 100 hospitals for both cardiac care and coronary intervention. The institute is among only two systems in Ohio to achieve the distinction of being named one of America’s 50 Best Hospitals for Cardiac Surgery.

Debbie Hayes, President & CEO of The Christ Hospital Health Network, attributed this recognition to the hospital's mission of delivering high-quality care and exceptional patient experiences. She highlighted the contributions of Dr. Dean Kereiakes, Chairman, and Dr. Thomas O’Brien, President of The Christ Hospital Heart & Vascular Institute, stating that their work demonstrates a commitment to providing outstanding cardiovascular care in the Greater Cincinnati Region.

Healthgrades' list acknowledges hospitals that are in the top 1% nationwide for clinical outcomes in heart bypass and valve surgery. Dr. Kereiakes emphasized the dedication of their team to enhancing community care and maintaining their status as a regional leader in cardiac surgery.

The accolade for America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Cardiac Care reflects superior outcomes in various procedures including heart bypass surgery and coronary interventions like angioplasty with a stent. Dr. O’Brien expressed pride in his team’s ability to adapt to advancements in heart health technology, ensuring patients receive optimal care.

The Christ Hospital Health Network includes an acute care hospital located in Mt. Auburn, a remote location in Liberty Township, five outpatient centers, and numerous medical offices across the region. With over 130 years of service, it employs more than 1,300 physicians and over 6,500 staff members committed to improving community health affordably.
