The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati has been recognized as one of America’s Best Hospitals for Patient Experience by the Women’s Choice Award for 2025. This award, a trusted referral source in healthcare, is based on a national survey where 86% of women expressed willingness to travel up to 50 miles for top-rated inpatient experience. The recognition highlights hospitals with exceptional outcomes and patient recommendations, considering factors like doctor communication, staff assistance, cleanliness, recovery information, medication explanations, and nurse communication.
The hospital ranked in the top 1% for areas including obstetrics, heart care, orthopedics, cancer care, breast care, women's services, and mammogram imaging. Additionally, it earned the Women's Choice Award for patient safety (top 3%), minimally invasive surgery (top 3%), and stroke care (top 5%).
Debbie Hayes, President and CEO of The Christ Hospital Health Network stated: "Our mission to create exceptional outcomes for every patient that arrives at one of our hospitals, outpatient centers or physician offices is the reason we are once again recognized by The Women’s Choice Awards for 2025.” She emphasized the dedication of their doctors and staff in providing excellent healthcare experiences.
The methodology used by The Women’s Choice Award includes data from The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and other accreditation sources. Surveys were conducted with thousands of women to identify important measures. More details about America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Patient Experience can be found on the Women’s Choice Award website.
