The Kenton County School District (KCSD) recently celebrated the achievements of its students at the KHSAA state swimming and diving championships held in Lexington. Several students from different high schools within the district achieved notable placements.
Isaiah Reinhart, representing Simon Kenton High School, secured third place in boys' diving. Austin Maley from Dixie Heights High School achieved ninth place in the same category. In girls' diving, Rylee Pernell from Scott High School also placed ninth, while her schoolmate Zoey Beagle finished sixteenth.
The Dixie Heights High School girls' 200-yard medley relay team earned a commendable sixth-place finish. The team members included Freya Reil, Addi Johnson, Haley Waters, Dahlia Kissel, Maryam Al-Jaf, Chloe Bosch, Natalee Brady, and Abby Hugenberg. Additionally, Addi Johnson from Dixie Heights High School excelled individually by placing seventh in the girls' 100-yard breaststroke.
"Congratulations to all of our swimmers and divers who competed at the state meet!" expressed KCSD in recognition of their students' efforts and successes.
