Several students from the Kenton County School District (KCSD) showcased their skills at the KHSAA State Bowling Tournament held in Jeffersontown. The Simon Kenton boys bowling team achieved notable success by winning their region and securing a place among the top eight teams in Kentucky.

The Dixie Heights girls bowling team also demonstrated strong performance, winning their regional competition and participating in the state tournament. Individual achievements were highlighted by Alyssa Bechtol from Dixie Heights, who finished 14th, and Abree Young, also from Dixie Heights, who placed 16th in the individual tournament. Additionally, Riley Howell from Scott High School earned a commendable 26th place finish in the individual category.

These results underscore the dedication and talent of KCSD student athletes as they competed against some of the best bowlers across Kentucky.
