Fort Wright seeks volunteers for Community Clean-Up Day on April 12
Jeff Bethell Public Works Director | City of Fort Wright

Volunteers are being sought for a Community Clean-Up Day in Fort Wright. The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and will begin at City Hall. Participants are encouraged to join with friends and neighbors as part of an initiative to tidy up the community.

A statement promotes the event, "Join your friends and neighbors to help spring clean our community!" Attendees will receive a complimentary t-shirt while supplies last, as well as necessary materials for cleaning, such as trash bags and grabbers.

Upon arrival, volunteers will be given a list of areas around the city that require litter pick-up. City crews will be responsible for collecting filled trash bags from designated routes. The event organizers advise volunteers to wear long pants and bring work gloves, if possible. Boxed lunches will be provided at the conclusion of the clean-up.

There's an emphasis on community spirit, "Let's show Fort Wright some love! WE NEED YOU!"

Those interested in participating or needing further information are encouraged to contact Jeff Bethell, Public Works Director, via email at [email protected].
