The Christ Hospital Health Network has introduced a Mobile Heart Health Unit offering $75 heart screenings at six ambulatory outpatient centers around Greater Cincinnati. This mobile unit, made possible by a donation from the Wyler Family Foundation and Wyler Automotive Family, will be showcased at a press event scheduled for April 9, 2:30 p.m. at the Wyler Corporate Office, Milford, Ohio.
Debbie Hayes, President and CEO of The Christ Hospital Health Network, emphasized their commitment to accessible care: “The Mobile Heart Health Unit is a powerful example of our commitment to expanding access to care throughout the region,” Hayes said. She noted the unit's aim to reach communities lacking access to quality care and expressed gratitude to the Wyler Family Foundation for their support.
Screenings cater to patients over 60, or over 50 with risk factors such as high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, smoking, or a family history of vascular diseases. Jeff Wyler of the Wyler Family Foundation expressed the organization’s pride in supporting this initiative: “This mobile heart unit offers inexpensive, high-quality heart care for everyone. Heart attacks don’t happen overnight and screenings like this can save lives if heart disease is caught early on.”
Dr. Dean Kereiakes, Chairman of The Christ Hospital Heart and Vascular Institute, highlighted the unit's role in early detection and education: “The Mobile Heart Health Unit will allow us to provide early detection, education and clinical services where they’re needed most, helping us to identify heart disease earlier and guide patients to the right care, at the right time.”
Patients can schedule screenings by calling (513) 585-2668 or via TheChristHospital.com/heartscreening. The screenings will help detect heart disease risk, among other conditions.
The Christ Hospital Health Network, acknowledged as the #1 hospital in the Cincinnati Region by U.S. News & World Report, continues its mission of providing accessible, high-quality care. The Wyler Family, operating dealerships across Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana, supports community advancement through the Wyler Family Foundation.
