After a thorough nationwide search, The Christ Hospital Health Network in Cincinnati has appointed Rajesh Govindaiah, MD, as the new President of The Christ Hospital Physicians. "We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Govindaiah to The Christ Hospital Health Network," said Debbie Hayes, President and CEO of The Christ Hospital Health Network. Dr. Govindaiah will assume his new role on May 12.
Dr. Govindaiah, an experienced board-certified internal medicine physician, previously worked at Memorial Health in Springfield, Illinois, where he held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Physician Executive. In his previous role, he led initiatives focused on strategic physician alignment, quality and safety improvements, and innovations in clinical care.
In his new position, Dr. Govindaiah will oversee a group comprising over 650 specialists, ensuring excellence in clinical quality, patient experience, and affordability of care. He received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed his residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Additionally, he holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
