SUN Meals is offering free meals and snacks for children aged 18 and younger throughout the summer. The program will operate at various community locations, including schools, parks, and libraries in eligible areas. For more information on meal sites, visit www.fns.usda.gov/summer/sunmeals.
The Kenton County School District sponsors several sites providing these meals:
- Cambridge Square Covington at 101 Promotory Drive offers lunch from 11:00 to 12:00 on Thursdays between June 5 and July 24.
- Caywood Elementary serves breakfast from 8:30 to 9:00 and lunch from 12:00 to 12:30, Monday through Friday, from June 2 to June 27. Note that no lunch will be served on June 4.
- Durr Library provides lunch from 11:45 to 12:45 on Tuesdays between June 3 and July 29.
- Heartland Point at 113 Sioux Trail offers lunch from 11:00 to 12:00 on Mondays between June 2 and July 21.
- Middleton-Mills Park serves lunch from 11:30 to 12:00 on Wednesdays between May 28 and August 6.
- Summit View Academy provides breakfast from 8:00 to 8:30 and lunch from 10:45 to 11:45, Monday through Friday, from July 7 to July 25.
- White's Tower Elementary serves lunch from 11:45 to 12:15, Monday through Thursday, between July 7 and July 24.
