Gateway Community & Technical College has recognized Jill Holthaus, a school counselor at Schott High School, with the 2024-25 Kentucky Community & Technical College System (KCTCS) Pathfinder Award.
The Pathfinder Award is presented to one recipient from each of the system's 16 colleges' service regions. It acknowledges K-12 employees who inspire students to pursue postsecondary educational opportunities, including those at KCTCS colleges.
Criteria for receiving the Pathfinder Award include encouraging students to attend a KCTCS college, assisting them in identifying a career and postsecondary path, providing mentorship, and maintaining contact with the students.
