Dads will be celebrating Father's Day this weekend, and The Christ Hospital Health Network is marking the occasion with a special initiative. Partnering with local football star Ted Karras and his foundation, The Cincy Hat, the hospital will provide newborns at its Mt. Auburn and Liberty Birthing Centers with limited-edition "Born to Love Cincy" onesies and matching caps for their fathers on June 15.

"Our daughter was born at The Christ Hospital, so my wife Rachel and I experienced firsthand just how incredible the doctors, nurses and staff are," said Ted Karras. "They treated us like family. We're proud to team up with the hospital again to create these new Cincy onesies and hats for all the new dads out there hopefully adding a little extra joy to an already unforgettable day."

The initiative is part of a broader collaboration between The Christ Hospital Health Network and Ted Karras' foundation. The Cincy Hat raises funds for The Village of Merici in Indianapolis, which provides housing and services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Inspired by this model, The Cincy Hat is launching a similar housing project in Cincinnati while funding scholarships for the University of Cincinnati's Transition and Access Pathways program.

Last month saw the announcement of this partnership, which includes themed hats from The Cincy Hat supporting the foundation's mission through proceeds.

The Christ Hospital Health Network consists of various medical facilities throughout Cincinnati. It has been recognized as a top hospital in the region by U.S. News & World Report.
