The City of Fort Wright is set to hold a special meeting on June 18, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. The agenda includes a second reading and action on several ordinances: Ordinance 06-2025 regarding a budget amendment for fiscal year 2024-25, Ordinance 07-2025 concerning the adoption of a budget for fiscal year 2025-26, and Ordinance 08-2025 related to personnel classification and organization.
City Council will also address contracts for waste collection and recycling services with Rumpke of Northern Kentucky. Additionally, easement requests from SD1 concerning the Edna Drive Storm Sewer Project will be discussed. A recommendation from the Kenton County Planning Commission (KCPC) about Walmart's request for property modifications will also be considered. This involves adding parking and building space to facilitate online and mobile order pickups.
The City Council is anticipated to take action on all items listed in the agenda. No further business discussions or actions are planned beyond these topics. The meeting will take place at the Fort Wright Municipal Building located at 409 Kyles Lane, Fort Wright, KY.
Following the special meeting, the regularly scheduled Caucus Meeting will commence immediately.
