Several students from the Kenton County School District (KCSD) participated in the 2025 Educators Rising National Competition held in Orlando, alongside the Ignite Institute. The event concluded with notable achievements for KCSD scholars.
Ignite Institute was named the National EdRising Grand Champion at this year's competition.
Among the winners were Zowiee Bishop, who secured first place in the Job Interview category. Hiya Patel followed closely behind, achieving second place in the same category. Lily Russell took sixth place for her public speaking on teacher recruitment. Additionally, Sophia Coates was recognized as a ninth-place winner for her work as an author in PreK-K Children's Literature-Spanish. Laila Northcutt also competed in K-3 Children's Literature.
