The Christ Hospital Health Network and iHeartMedia have announced a partnership to mark the 49th annual Western & Southern/WEBN Fireworks in Cincinnati. This year, babies born at The Christ Hospital’s Mt. Auburn or Liberty Birthing Centers on Sunday, August 31 will receive a limited-edition “Boomsday the Musical” onesie. The event coincides with the Labor Day Weekend fireworks display, which begins at 9 p.m. and features a drone show by Pella Windows and Doors followed by Rozzi Famous Fireworks.

Debbie Hayes, President & CEO of The Christ Hospital Health Network, commented on the collaboration: “The Western & Southern/WEBN Fireworks show is a Cincinnati tradition that thousands look forward to every year we could not be more excited to celebrate with these official onesies. Our onesies are just another way to mark the special occasion that is so unique to our region. We look forward to celebrating all weekend with these newborns and their families.”

John F. Barrett, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Western & Southern Financial Group, also spoke about the significance of the event: “It is hard to believe the Western & Southern / WEBN Fireworks show has been lighting up our skyline for 49 years, and it just keeps getting better. Thanks to the incredible teams at iHeartMedia, Local 12 and Rozzi Fireworks, this Cincinnati tradition continues to wow crowds and bring our community together year after year. Western & Southern is proud to sponsor an event of this magnitude, one that not only delivers a world-class show but also helps raise critical funds for the Freestore Foodbank. It serves as a powerful reminder that Cincinnati is somewhere we can all do good for others. Together, our impact truly makes a big difference in the lives of many.”

For those unable to attend in person, fans can listen live on WEBN 102.7 or stream through the iHeart Radio app. WKRC-TV will broadcast both the drone show and fireworks display.

The Christ Hospital Health Network operates hospitals in Mt. Auburn and Liberty Township as well as several outpatient centers across Greater Cincinnati.
