The Christ Hospital Health Network | Official Website

The Christ Hospital Health Network is organizing an event titled 'Women in Medicine' for local high school girls. This initiative, involving DePaul Cristo Rey High School, Summit Country Day Academy, Mount Notre Dame High School, and Seven Hills Academy, aims to educate students about careers in the medical field. The event will take place on Saturday, February 1, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Students will have the opportunity to interact with female physicians specializing in various fields such as family medicine, OB/GYN, pulmonary/critical care, surgery, and cardiology. They will learn about the career paths of these professionals and their reasons for choosing healthcare as a profession. Additionally, there will be hands-on demonstrations where students can familiarize themselves with medical instruments and technology.

The program aligns with The Christ Hospital Health Network’s mission to improve community health and transform healthcare delivery. The network includes an acute care hospital in Mt. Auburn and several other facilities throughout the region. With over 1,300 physicians and 7,200 team members dedicated to providing affordable healthcare solutions with exceptional outcomes, The Christ Hospital was recognized by U.S. News & World Report as the top hospital in the Cincinnati Region and featured on Newsweek’s World’s Best Hospitals list in 2024.
