The Christ Hospital Health Network recently collaborated with the Cincinnati Youth Collaborative to provide mock interview opportunities for students from Robert A. Taft High School. The event was organized by the Black Excellence United (BE-U) team and aimed at helping underrepresented students explore careers in healthcare.
Held at The Joint & Spine Center on The Christ Hospital's Mt. Auburn Campus, the mock interviews offered a realistic job interview experience in a controlled environment. Students were able to connect with healthcare professionals, improve their interviewing skills, and gain confidence, with the hope of bridging the gap between education and employment. Panelists included team members from various specialties within the healthcare field. Additionally, students had opportunities to learn about potential career paths through interactions with top leaders.
