CINCINNATI – Dr. Christopher Paprzycki, a physician at The Christ Hospital Health Network, has been appointed President of The Academy of Medicine of Cincinnati. Dr. Paprzycki will officially take on the role at the organization's 168th annual meeting on May 20, 2025. A board-certified vascular surgeon, Dr. Paprzycki has been part of The Christ Hospital Heart & Vascular Institute since 2017. He also serves as a volunteer teaching faculty member at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Dr. Paprzycki specializes in minimally invasive treatments for arterial and venous diseases and has contributed significantly to clinical research trials focused on vascular health.

"It is an honor to be named the next president of The Academy of Medicine of Cincinnati," Dr. Paprzycki expressed. "I look forward to creating better health outcomes for the Greater Cincinnati region by empowering physicians across all specialties within our region. During my time as president, I will continue to advocate, support, and connect our members while enhancing the health and well-being of our community. I encourage all Cincinnati area physicians to join the Academy."

The Academy of Medicine of Cincinnati, founded in 1857, is a non-profit professional association for physicians in Hamilton County. The organization is dedicated to promoting preventive care, advancing medical research, and addressing healthcare disparities, ensuring that quality healthcare is accessible to everyone in the community.

Dr. Paprzycki obtained his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Toledo and completed his vascular surgery residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati. He is also affiliated with the American Medical Association and the Ohio State Medical Association.

The Christ Hospital Health Network, based in Mt. Auburn, includes a hospital in Liberty Township, eight outpatient centers, and numerous medical offices across the region.
