The Christ Hospital Health Network has announced a partnership with Cincinnati Bengals player Ted Karras. Known for his community involvement, Karras is supporting the network and the local area through this collaboration. Since joining the Bengals in 2022, Karras has been active in Cincinnati's community efforts.

Karras' foundation, The Cincy Hat, raises funds for The Village of Merici, an Indianapolis-based living community serving adults with disabilities. The foundation plans to extend similar services to Cincinnati and offers full scholarships to the University of Cincinnati’s Transitions and Access Pathways (TAP) program for adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

“Ted is well known in Greater Cincinnati for improving the health of our community and making it a great place to live and work,” said Debbie Hayes, President and CEO of The Christ Hospital Health Network. “For the last 4 years, Cincinnatians have seen his leadership both on and off the field. His work through The Cincy Hat Foundation has directly helped those with developmental disabilities showing his care for the city. We are so grateful for the opportunity to highlight his charitable giving and look forward to collaborating with him in the future.”

“Giving back to others has been important to me throughout my career no matter where I live,” said Ted. “The community of Cincinnati has embraced me and my family, and I could not be happier to announce this new endeavor and partnership with The Christ Hospital Health Network. It’s even more meaningful because we delivered our first baby at the Mt. Auburn Birthing Center and the care we received and experience we had was top notch. We could feel the hospital’s mission through every stage of our pregnancy journey.”

As part of their joint effort, The Cincy Hat introduced three versions of hats themed around The Christ Hospital Health Network, with all proceeds going toward supporting its mission. Last Friday marked their partnership launch by distributing hats to team members who have served between 30 to 50 years as a token of appreciation.

Future collaborations between Ted Karras and The Christ Hospital Health Network will include social media posts and commercials. Karras joins Sam Hubbard as both an ambassador and partner for the network.

The Christ Hospital Health Network comprises an acute care hospital in Mt. Auburn, a remote location in Liberty Township, eight outpatient centers, along with numerous medical offices across the region. Recognized by U.S. News & World Report as Cincinnati's top hospital, it also made Newsweek’s World's Best Hospitals list in 2025.
