On August 6, The Christ Hospital Health Network will host a free online webinar titled "Your Health, Your Voice: A Candid Conversation on Comprehensive Care for Women." The event will begin at noon and is open to the public. Registration is available through their website.
The webinar aims to address women's health issues across different stages of life. It will feature discussions led by female physicians who are advocates for women's voices in healthcare. Speakers include Jennifer Manders, MD, surgical oncologist; Leanne Olshavsky, MD, OBGYN; Aruna Puthota, DO, family medicine provider; Odayme Quesada, MD, director of the women’s heart center; and Janice Rafferty, colorectal surgeon.
Topics covered will include heart health for women, annual screenings, colorectal health, obstetric and gynecological care, primary care among others. Jennifer Fritsch from Q102 will moderate the session. The aim is to create a supportive environment where women can feel empowered about their health.
